Turkey Burger with Chili Fries - 7 Points

These are incredible and I was SO full!

Turkey Burger 
with Chili Fries

Put a spin on the typical burger and fries by pairing the fries with meatloaf. Preheat the oven to 350°F, shape the turkey mixture into a loaf and bake until cooked through, about 45 minutes. Let it stand 10 minutes before slicing.


  • 2 large potato(es), cut into thin strips
  • 2 large egg white(s)
  • 3/4 Tbsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp table salt
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper, (optional)
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 medium onion(s), red, chopped
  • 1 large egg(s), beaten
  • 2 Tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 medium garlic clove(s), minced
  • 1/2 tsp ground tarragon
  • 1/2 tsp table salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 light wheat buns, high-fiber (1 point each)


  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Coat a nonstick baking sheet and broiler rack with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine potatoes, egg whites, cumin, salt, chili powder and pepper; toss to coat. Transfer to baking sheet.
  • Bake until potatoes are barely tender, about 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a large bowl lightly combine turkey, onion, egg, parsley, garlic, tarragon, salt and pepper. Form into 4 burgers.
  • Increase oven temperature to broil. Broil fries until crispy, about 10 minutes. At the same time, broil burgers until brown, about 5 minutes on each side.
  • Place on rolls and serve immediately.
